Drake, Rihanna and Katy Perry lead the charge going into the September 6 awards show.

The videos have been reviewed, the list has been narrowed and you are now looking at the full list of nominees for the 29th annual <a href="http://www.mtv.com/ontv/vma/2012/">MTV Video Music Awards</a>.<a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/rihanna/artist.jhtml/">Rihanna</a> and <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/drake/artist.jhtml">Drake</a> lead the pack with five nominations each, followed by VMA darling Katy Perry with four and a bumper crop of new and veteran faces with three noms each.<div class="player-placeholder right" title="The 2012 Video Music Award Nominees Are..." id="vid:820732.id:1690828" width="415" height="255"></div>While new acts like the Wanted, Carly Rae Jepsen, A$AP Rocky, Frank Ocean and Gotye are looking for their first taste of Moonman gold, they'll be facing some wily veterans in the form of Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Usher, Maroon 5, Linkin Park and Coldplay.<big><a href="http://www.mtv.com/ontv/vma/2012/categories.jhtml">What are you waiting for?
